1. Introduction

This manual is published in accordance with Section 51 of the Promotion of Access to Information Act (PAIA). It provides information on how to request access to records held by Heidelberg Radio.

3. Records Available

Public Records (automatically available):

• Show schedule and programme information
• Advertising rate card
• Station profile and promotional material
• Contact details for station departments

Records available on request:

• Broadcast logs (subject to retention policies)
• Advertising contracts and invoices
• Employment records (subject to employee consent)
• Financial records required by ICASA
• Governance documents and broadcasting licenses

4. How to Request Information

Requests must be made in writing via email to heidelbergradio@gmail.com with the subject line "PAIA Request". Provide sufficient detail to identify the requested record. We will respond within 30 days as per PAIA regulations.

5. Grounds for Refusal

Access may be refused on grounds including but not limited to: protection of personal information, commercial confidentiality, safety and security of the station, and legal privilege.

6. Fees

Requests may be subject to a prescribed fee for search, reproduction, and postage as set by the Department of Justice.

7. Remedies

If a request is refused, the requester may lodge an internal appeal or apply to the Information Regulator (www.inforegulator.org.za) for external review.
